ChartBeat Is Metrics Porn

When did website metrics become exciting? I'm not sure it's ever been exciting, but once you have decent clear and usable reports like Google Analytics does, metrics ceratinly became addictive. It's like a little world of your own personal trending. But, good as Google Analytics is, it doesn't answer the question, what's going on with my site right now. Here's where ChartBeat comes in. It's showing you in as close to real time as you're likely to get, who's looking at what, how did they get there, some tweets and some links to you, how long it took pages to load, all with some very candy like graphics. No kidding, if you have anything to do with running a website in any capacity whatsoever you will not be able to take your eyes off of chartbeat. And it's only ten bucks a month.
